Patagonia Connection: Puyuhuapi Lodge and Spa

Relax and be spoiled at one of Chile´s best Spa, attractively located on the shore of a fjord amid the ancient forests of northern Patagonia. Only accessible by sea, this first-class Ladge & Resort is an exclusive and idyllic resting place with the only thalasso therapy center in Chile, a number of thermal pools, pampering massages, and seaweed treatments. In the spectacular surrounding wilderness you can go on hiking trips, kayak through the southern fiords, and take the catamaran trip to the beautiful Laguna San Rafael with its massive glacier.

Hidden Fjords PC 01 (6 days / 5 nights)
Thursday: Balmaceda - Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa
Reception at Balmaceda Airport. After crossing the Patagonian pampas in a 45-minute drive, you will arrive in the town of Coyhaique. After a brief visit you will continue on to the Puyuhuapi Lodge & SPA (5 hrs). In the afternoon,you will arrive at the pier and cross the channel by speedboat in just 10 minutes. (L,D)

Friday: Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa (full board)
Relax and try the numerous facilities of the Spa, including a fully equipped thalassotherapy center additional cost).

Saturday: Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa
Visit of Puerto Puyuhuapi and the Queulat National Park with the "Hanging Glacier". Free afternoon.(B,L,D)

Sunday: Puyuhuapi Lodge& Spa
Free day to enjoy the Lodge (full board)

Monday: Laguna San Rafael - Puerto Chacabuco
At 07:00 a.m. you will board the PATAGONIA EXPRESS catamaran and begin a 7-hour navigation through the fjords to the San Rafael Lagoon and its millenarian glacier. After an approx. two-hour visit, you will start your return journey and arrive in Puerto Chacabuco at about 10:30 p.m.; transfer to the hotel there or in Coyhaique. (B,L,D)

Tuesday: Puerto Chacabuco - Balmaceda
After breakfast you can enjoy the 2.5-hour bus trip that takes you to Balmaceda Airport. (B) 

San Rafael Lagoon PC 02 and PC 03 (4 days / 3 nights)
Saturday PC2 / Tuesday PC3: Balmaceda - Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa
Reception at Balmaceda Airport. After crossing the Patagonian pampas in a 45-minute drive, you will arrive in the town of Coyhaique. After a short visit you will go on to Puerto Chacabuco (1:15 hrs), where the PATAGONIA EXPRESS catamaran will be waiting to take you on a 5-hour cruise through the southern fjords and channels to your destination: Puyuhuapi Lodge & SPA. (L,D)

Sunday / Wednesday: Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa
Relax and try the numerous facilities of the Spa. The lodge also offers paths for walks through thecold forest, visits to the Queulat  National Park with its Hanging Glacier, bicycle trips along the Austral Road, and trips on the Dorita Bay in boats or kayaks. (B,L,D)

Monday / Thursday: Laguna San Rafael - Puerto Chacabuco
At 07:00 a.m. you will once again board the PATAGONIA EXPRESS catamaran and begin a 7-hour navigation through the fjords to the San Rafael Lagoon and its millenarian glacier. After an approx. two-hour visit, you will start your return journey and arrive in Puerto Chacabuco at about 10:30 p.m.; transfer to the hotel there or in Coyhaique. (B,L,D)

Tuesday / Friday: Puerto Chacabuco - Balmaceda
After breakfast, you can enjoy a 2.5-hour bus trip to Balmaceda Airport. (B)

Puyuhuapi‘S Secret PC 04 (5 days / 4 nights, Monday – Friday).
All services are like the PC02 program, but instead of travelling roundtrip along the fjords you drive to the lodge via the wild Carretera A ustral, you will still have the chance to see the fjjords on the way to the San Rafael Lagoon. This program includes an additional day in the P uyuhuapi Lodge, giving you the chance to do more activities included in the program. For example hike to the Enchanted Forrest and the Pudu Glacier

The Austral Road PCA (4 days / 3 nights)
Monday – Thursday or Thursday – Sunday (transfer in via Carretera Austral)
Tuesday – Friday or Saturday – Tuesday (transfer in on board of the catamaran)
Program includes mainly the same services as PC04, except for the full day excursion to Laguna San Rafael and the last night in Puerto Chacabuco. I nstead of the navigation on day 4 you will leave the lodge Balmaceda A irport over the Carretera Austral after Breakfast and have lunch in Coyhaique. We recommend starting the PCA on a Tuesday or Saturday to see the Fjord on the way to the lodge.
